Hey all~~ yuhe here~~

Anyway... I shall not attempt to post about my first day of school cuz it's totally CHAOTIC and it'll take me a year to write finish (and perhaps, RECALL finish) what happened today.. -.-

Two lessons that i've learnt today that I would like to share with everyone.

1. NEVER trust the school management. Get the things done urself! don't wait for them cuz they have the 'hell care' attitude.

2. The person who invented court shoes must either be REALLY bored, or somebody who is a SADIST and love to see other people suffer.

So... I realise that.. well, most of you are having O levels this year... which = MUG + MORE MUGGING. And I started to realise that it is HIGH time that we should start planning for our future.. If you think about it... after taking O levels, and then A level, then get into a whateva university, get a job, get a family, continueing leading your boring life... is that what we want? I mean, where is the MEANING of life?? Why must our life be so ROUTINED?

I remebered this speech that I read a few years back by Oracle CEO to the Yale uni graduates(Please take the time, if you have, to read through it. I think it's really sth to ponder about) :

"Graduates of Yale University, I apologize if you have endured this type of prologue before, but I want you to do something for me. Please, take a good look around you. Look at the classmate on your left. Look at the classmate on your right. Now, consider this: five years from now, 10 years from now, even 30 thirty years from now, odds are the person on your left is going to be a loser. Thanks to Selena who passed us the username and password...And thank her for being active and bringing this blog to life.

Today's the second day of year 2009. Mine was a rather boring one. And so, you can don't read it >.<

Honestly speaking, I never wanted school holidays to end. I guess most of us still want our holidays.
Cause holidays= Sleep late, wake up late
Wake up late= VERY GREAT!
Well, all good things come to an end...And so the first thing I realize early this morning is that I am really getting old after seeing batches of Secondary ones coming into school, most of them are small-sized...
It's a tradition for all principals , I think, to start the day off with " The First Speech of the year" And so my new principal told us about the youth olympics education thing, and introduce some new teachers. Wow, it's cool to see a teacher from England walking around in school you know. Haha, maybe for some of you, it ain't much of a big deal for your school may have alot of caucassians, for my case, I never seen any around in school yet. And so that's the first one...
And it's a practice by all principals that they go and talk about the past achievements of the school and the programmes being lined up to ready us for certain things, like O'levels for the graduating classes, being leaders etc etc, Well you know those programmes that claim to nurture us into better leaders and students with good values.

And later I was being brought back to class. And in that new class environment, although I still see my old, previous sec 3 classmates, but I am so not used to the surroundings.

Secondary 4 , the subject teachers warned us, my class mentor told us, that it's going to be tough, well. O'levels what. And geez, syllabus were to be covered by June. how rush... I have been struggling alot last year, and this year, with the speed the teacher is going to go, I guess, it's a must to work extremely hard, to catch up and not be left behind. So for those people who are also taking their o'levels this year, let's work hard and achieved our targets (^_^) JIAYOU!

I guess I shall end it here, there ain't much for me to share. SO, Bye!

heyy people! so how was the FIRST DAY of school? haha i believe i have given most of you the user and pass so please share with us your pleasant memories! heh. this is going to be so funn!
haha i'll tell you about mine. the WHOLE DAY's about talks. first is about CCA talk (and freak. we have the same damn talk for the past three years! and all of them by the same teacher. and seriously, a leopard doesn't change it's spots. i tell you, the way she deliver her so-called speech is... wahh laoo. makes you want to faint and strangle her and want to stand up and shout SHUT-THE-!"£$%^&*-UP-BEFORE-I-DO-ANYTHING-RASH.) and to describe her way of speech in the most accurate way, imagine someone saying one word *then pause for 3 seconds* then another word *then pause for another 3 seconds* then another word *then pause for a good 10 seconds* and all these while she's surveying each and everyone of you with her ever keen eyes so you can FORGET about falling asleep. and this droony voice goes on and on and on for a good 30 to 45 MINUTES of your life. (sec one's worst. it goes on for 2 HOURS) that's the worst time of your life and it makes you want to go back to studying more than anything esle. please. give us a break!
PE teachers are freaking the same. their jokes are sooo COLD and well, they laugh at their own jokes and we laugh at them laughing at their own jokes. and they dragg on these two words: alrighttt.... and okkk girlssss... wahh laoo. freak! and because of them we missed our break time again. and i almost shouted WAH LAO SO BORING! luckily my friend stopped me. but oh wells, everyone still looked at me and i believe that deep inside, they're nodding their heads in agreement. ENTHUSIASTICALLY (the teacher just continued her lame joke)
ok then we had house talk. omg pe teachers again. please SPARE ME OF MY AGONY. I'M SO AGITATED AND FRUSTRATED I WANT TO TEAR MYSELF UP AND LIE PEACEFULLY FOREVER. we have the house themes too. tarbet timetravellers (red), buckle(green), richardson(blue), waddle warriors(yellow ME) and hadley hardrock(purple). i forgot buckle's and richard's ones. oops. haha i'll find them out soon...
and form's is the one i least expected and trying most of my life dodging out of her way. she's nice, but er. boring and... yeah you get it. plain boring and her lessons are killer. it's a great opportunity to sleep and a great challenge to stay awake. teaches physics and...CRAP! you can't sleep no matter what cause it's IMPORTANT! and i'm glad i changed my chem teacher. but his accent's weird and i can't catch anything he's saying. but looks kind of promising. MY CHEM FOR THIS YEAR IS SAVED. going to meet the rest of my teachers soon. was kind of curious how they looked and went to G.O to check them up. omg. ok. you have to agree with me that the first impression you have on people is their looks. and bad news cause some of them looked plain boring. and the guy teachers don't look (sorry i didn't mean this) you know, comfortable-to-the-eye. soo i guess i'm going to have an ill time getting used to them. my previous bio teacher looked so... KNOWLEDGEABLE! and so cool. ok maybe i'm biased. I HAVE TO MAKE FRIENDS WITH THEM SO THAT I CAN GLADLY SAY I ENJOYED MY LAST YEAR IN SCHOOL! ai yoh. i'm beginning to doubt my socialising skills...

~HOW to get rid of your Post-first-day-of-school BLUES~

1. Ignorance is BLISS
Yes, the most easy way to not feel blue is.. not to think about it!! LALA.. it's still holidays now!!!!! *jumps around*.. 'huh? you are asking me when does school start?? Eh... to tell you the truth, I DONT KNOW ^^ ~innocent face~'

2. Stay AWAY from calendar, the killer
Yes, as harmless as it may looks, calendar may be perhaps the most 罪魁祸首 de suspect for post-first-day-of-school blues. It can be as sharp as a knife and go right THROUGH your heart *stinging pain.. T.T* So stay away from it, and be safe. Then you won't be able to know how far away is 2nd Jan 09.

3. Drink lots of alcohol
一醉解千愁嘛！Though it may not be legal for us to do that yet.. humm..

4. Out of SIGHT, out of MIND
So start putting away all your school bag, file, uniform, homework, pencil case, name tags, books etc and dump them into a ULU corner of the house!!

5. Be a PIG
Yes, eat like a pig, sleep like a pig, be happy like a pig!!! >< basically, be a pig and your troubles will float away!

6. Kill your alarm clock before it kills you

HELLO yuhe here~~~ Yes i m going to attempt to carry on selena's legacy of crapping in this blog while she is away in MY.. MUHAHAHA..

Anyway, today's crap topic is..... *drums rollls*...

Why do we all HATE the first day of school (okay that was random..)

Firstly, let us analyse what do we do on the first day of school.

6am in the morning and you attempt to drag yourself out of bed but in vain
6.05am your mom come shouting into the room screaming for you to get dressed
6.20am you leave your house for that same old damned bus stop that you have been going to everday for the past THREE hell years.
6.45am you reach school.
6.50am you find your new classroom. You stare up at the name of your new class: 401, and suddenly reality 降临ed from hell... YOU ARE OLD ALREADY
7am the classroom is opened. You dash into the classroom to find a good sit for the year (ALERT: that is probably the only reason why most people go to sch on the first day XD)
7.30am and you go down to assembly area and sing that forever routined sch song n national anthem, only to realise that you forgot how to sing them...
7.45am first lesson started. And you realised you forgot how to hold a pen
7.46am and you start wondering if the day will ever end... as your eye lid slowing weighs a thousand pounds
9.45am you have your first recess break and you realise that your canteen food is as sucky as ever
10.15am you are back in hell.
2.29pm you are counting down from 60 to the end of school
2.30pm the bell sounded and everyone goes HOOORRAAAYY!!
2.31pm and you realise that there are 363 more days to the end of the year... 郁闷-ing... and you drag your feet to your CCA.
3pm cca starts and you realise all your organs are failing you (from the lack of practise in holidays)
6.15pm you crawled out of school (barely breathing)
7pm you reached home, squashed from the crowd in the bus.
8pm you finish your dinner, dont even care about any homework and just dump yourself on bed and sleep like a pig.
The next day 6am you wake up again, and you realised: Oh my god! I didnt do my homework!!! (reaches school early and chiong hw)

Yeap, that is what we do on the first day of school.
I believe there is no need for much more explaination.

And therefore, my team, the proposition, propose that FIRT DAY OF SCHOOL SUKS!!!

WAIT. i'm back!! haha. i've thought. lots and lots. and i realise that blogging on 6 joy's blog is really hard cause honestly, we don't really have anything in common to talk about. you have your own blog cause really, it's about YOU. but this blog, it's about US. so i think i can't really write anthing now cause we don't, perhaps, give yourselves time to sort of relive that wonderful experience. most of us spent like at least 4 years together in primary school and think about it. we've only been apart for 3 years. i think it'll take more than that to make us go our seperate ways, right? and if we really find the time to meet up, please don't feel shy to talk to each other. i mean, everyone will change, for the better. all of us have become more mature and i'm sure that we'll have lots to talk about. maybe but we'll have to try right?
but well, maybe we could spend some time together on msn one day and chat then get more comfortable with one another's way of speech. i'm sure talking on msn will prove to be much easier than well, talking face to face but we'll somehow manage. (we had faced each other for everyday for 4 years, remember?)
to my best knowledge, i recalled that time when we had a gathering. we were sec2. well, after the bowling, the guys and girls practically went our seperate ways. the guys went arcade and girls went to the playground. and i tell you, that F!"£$%^&*(. terrible. really. that's not really gathering. more like cliquing. ohwells that's really what i have to say. if we made the effort to organise another gathering, could we go everywhere together? it'll be so much more meaningful. maybe we could just sit down somewhere, face each other for the first time and tell your fellow friends (of 4 years) what you were really up to and perhaps we could share our troubles and recall those happy memories that we used to share and have. with regards to the gathering thing, here's just some suggestions

1. gathering numbers
-whole of 6joy + teachers who have taught 6joy (as some may not have come from 5joy/3A etcetc)
-phone system, can ask mstan to call up the teachers. renfang, yuhe, ym, lyda and i can maybe call up the bulk of the numbers? then everyone else is each incharge of another person for efficient and effective communication.
-while calling to inform of the event, also seek 'free' dates
-upon collating of dates, call again to confirm date
-calling to start after planning of events is confirmed.
2. events
-escape theme park
-picnic @east coast
-bbq
-maybe we can like, meet at bbmrt station and deposit the potluck food items for night's bbq at yuhe's house first, then travel towards pasir ris with picnic food. then play play play then picnic = lunch yeah. then maybe chat around, hang around east coast for a bit before leaving perhaps for some commercial centre for shopping etcetc.? and then finally head for yuhe's house for bbq :D then everyone can head home okay yay happy :D

Oh... We're thinking if whether we can maybe organize a full-day gathering.
Like say go downtown east, escape theme park in the morning
And for those whom cant go for a full-day gathering but only can go for the morning one, then ya, join us in the morning gathering at Escape
And at night we can have BBQ at yuhe's house.
And for those whom only can join us at night,will join us of course.

Oh, and, Cause End-of-year holidays are so faraway,so we'd not organize now la.

So yah, just give you a brief idea what it might turns out to be...

But please try your best to make sure you're there for the gathering at the end of year...

Alrighty-o, the next meeting... wadever. The beach idea is fine.. the prob is which beach (ain't a bad word..rite?) to go.. and transportation. Sentosa.. seems off the hook since its kinda still under renovation..I think. Changi? It'll be noisy since planes are flying above..but u can shout your stress away..er.. dunno.... But all the beaches (catch another bad word? lol) are pretty far away.. in whic takes part of our time for transportation.

LAN shop? I might as well be at home thn. =/ Not all of us play ORPGs.. rite?

We DO need to go shopp for presents though.. hope we don't blow the budget.. that is if we hav one. I like the idea of going to our primary sch in old sch uniform. That can kinda rock of the sch... HOWEVER, the principal's very big-headed in a way.. so she might think that she's superior...blah blah... and blubber tongues split the news as though we worship her. Oh well I'm getting carried away..

I would like to skip sch on one day, just for teacher's day celebration this yr in our pri. sch. but I dunno... Alright. All in all, I think a go for KBOX! XD

Uh...cao here. im irritating rites ((:. Um so for teachers' day...who votes for meeting up, gathering to buy presents? uh-huh SHOPPING. not window shopping but REAL SHOPPING. ((:
Well we can't really require people to buy 2 presents, because there are some who receive say $1/day as allowance. And that'd mean a whole weeks' allowance gone, so that's unfair. It all depends on teh financial situations. And renzy said that we'd to buy "equal quality" presents. uh-huh. that's true. so we have to set a standard cost and all, right. If one person buys all, it'd be hard to change [change as in...monetary change], and the cost of presents would have a lot of discrepancies. And one person = one style, if all the presents are the same then, 'dipping' would lose its purpose. Also, some people would refuse to pay, like zhufeng, I doubt he'd go for sentimentilities. uh-huh. So we'd have to buy more, and each has to buy at least 2 or something to reach the whole school of teachers, maybe more, so...that's not really that good...
But another problem is, would we even be allowed into the school compound? Uh-huh.
As for the second gathering...
1. Picnic at Sentosa
2. Shopping at complex with neoprints

3. Revolution; Back to BVPS [uniforms included. eww.]
Please add on to the list of options (: uh-huh. Or who wants to go sentosa for a picnic, and instead of neoprints take live photographs there at the beach, and maybe we can go those souvenir shops to buy presents? uh-huh.

The gathering organized by me..hmmx.didn't turn out the way I thought it might be..but well.quite fine actually..
At least get to sight old classmates.
Main Reason why we're holding gatherings.Right.
But some of the boys didn't seem "sastified" But well.They enjoyed it quite much anyways.
Ice-skating turns out real nice..And shiok..
The cold ice..and speed..Cool..But needs time for us ..beginners to adapt to this very slippery and watery ice...The skate boots were real heavy and it's hard to balance on them..Wells..blisters on our ankles..They hurts.Well.All blisters do.Rhea.Is leaving for london.So this MIGHT or MIGHT NOT be the last time we'll be seeing her..
If we're to hold a gathering to bade a gdbye it might be difficult.as everyone might be busy with school..sighz.and she's like leaving in a week or two??
time flies..It felt like yesterday she's just told me about that.
Well..We'll miss her ..dont' we?
After Ice-skating..We' watched some play arcade.
The boys were really "violent"when it comes to hitting drums..wow.Didn't know they've got so much power.Well.they have.the girls..were not that bad..haha(:

Heyys! Cao here, uh-huh. Yepps, so this is now the new portal for...well, just a blog for y'all to POST IN and CHAT. Password/username can be acquired from Jess/me. [I don't know who else knows...] uh-huh. Anyway, class gathering yesterday was totally "fetch". Well...it's subjective. The turn-out was kind of...great and miserable, both. Like hey, how come so many peeps were absent? Never mind, thrust that aside for the moment.
Well, it was more of a..."girl-gathering" or "boy-gathering" yeah? Like the two genders split up some how, and some peeps went in their cliques, while some just hang there as if they don't exist or something. Well of course that's just for some exceptions. Uh-huh. Some poor souls were wandering about alone and like, kinda left out, uh-huh...so...that's bad, and sad.
Ice-skating was fun, if not for being intimidated by the guys who surprisingly can skate =.= and aside from those able-skaters, the rest just hanged around by the railings. And sadly Rhea can't join in, and Ms Tan nv join in, uh-huh. Awws can't seem 'em fall. HAHA. But anyway falling was FUN. ((: I bet renzy's butt has cracked LOL. But some got blisters...well some were quite nasty as well, so yeah..suggestion for next gathering: Bring FIRST AID. Anyway throwing of iceballs was kinda fun as well, when it hits. HAHA. uh-huh the poor victims would think not of course. Anyway there's this girl with a iceball like, her whole palm size? its APPALLING la. But well all good things come to an end, uh-huh. Eventually the 2 hours were up, and ten dollars is gone just like that.
Anyway arcade was fun as well, though i doubt much of you went to the arcades. TZR and I got a wholly time banging those drums [apologies to those who had to wait for us to finish...-sheepish-] uh-huh. AND all thanks to LUAN YUAN FENG who selected a goosebumpysong we FAILED and wasted e money =_= Hahhas. Try that game. Lols. It's addictive though but FUN. uh-huh. ((:
NEOPRINTS. MY LOVEEE. Ms Tan had to bribe us--boys and girls--to be willing to squeeze in a tiny 2x2cm neoprint. Uh-huh. And the machine's a cheat!
